Opened in November 2022 as Vocation & Co, part of a small chain of pubs run by Vocation Brewery.

Vocation & Co Halifax features a ground-floor level taproom with six cask and 18 keg lines. A range of canned beers are also available from a fridge (primarily for take-out although they are available for drink-in with an additional surcharge). On the second-floor is The Projectionist - named as a nod to the building's history as an Art Deco cinema - where they serve cocktails, keg lines, and a cask line in a calmer, more intimate setting (open Thursday to Sunday - 5pm - Late). There is also a Roof Terrace bar seating 60 people (open seasonally) with 4 keg lines, seasonal spritz menu and frozen cocktails all year round daily from noon.

Food is provided by Wonder Wheel New York-style pizza, who produce giant 18" pizzas (also available as 12”) and selected sides.

There is one small step on entrance to the premises. On the ground floor there are a further 2 small, wide, steps (no handrails) to access an additional seating area. To access the Wonder Wheels counter there are a further 3 smalls steps through a doorway from the raised seating area. There is an accessible toilet (also serving as the baby changing facilities). There are supports on both sides of toilet. There is no emergency alarm in the toilet.
