Working Brewery *** Highlands & Western Isles pub opening and food service times currently vary nearly on a day-to-day basis, mostly dependent on establishments' access to bar and waiting staff. Hence you will almost certainly see different times than those published here. Please DO NOT send updates to either opening or food service times, as trying to hit a moving target is a waste of our very limited resources. Instead, overall opening and restaurant times will be updated at the next full survey. Your understanding is appreciated. Cairngorm is the home of many award winning ales and a trip to the Highlands for a Real Ale enthusiast will not be complete without a visit.

In 2016 Cairngorm bought the Loch Ness brand, and now brews the popular beers in Aviemore.

The following year, the brewery was licensed for both on and off sales so that after the tasting you could buy another pint for consumption on the premises.

Tours of the brewery production area are no longer available, but tasting sessions are offered Monday to Friday for groups of over six persons, to book call 01479 722 076 or 01479 812 222.

Typically two real ales available dispensed via air pressure instead of hand pumps, the exact brews offered may differ depending on up-to-the-minute production.

Now re-opened after refurbishment, the well stocked shop will allow you to buy all of those "essentials" to enjoy later.
