Do not be put off by the 60's outside, inside a warm welcome awaits by the friendly owners, Iain and Lesley.

Although just the one hand pump, the bar is otherwise well stocked.

A popular stopping off place for cyclists doing Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) or JOGLE. After a long day, the friendly and relaxed atmosphere plus the hearty meals more than makes up for the decor. The bedrooms may be dated, but are clean.

The owners two dogs are friendly, which may not suit everyone.

Summing up, friendly and well priced rooms, but do not expect fancy.

[Update 1 Jun 2024: report of no real ale available.]
