This Pub is Temporarily Closed
Hotel & meals *** Highlands & Western Isles pub opening and food service times currently vary nearly on a day-to-day basis, mostly dependent on establishments' access to bar and waiting staff. Hence you will almost certainly see different times than those published here. Please DO NOT send updates to either opening or food service times, as trying to hit a moving target is a waste of our very limited resources. Instead, overall opening and restaurant times will be updated at the next full survey. Your understanding is appreciated. We welcome notifications of 'dog friendliness' however four legs good, two legs better. As you might imagine for a website under the CAMRA banner, the main aim is to highlight the quality of ales. Thus, please include an assessment of a pub's beer(s) when you notify us of its cynophile status! ***.
A traditional and historic Scottish Inn set in beautiful Highland wilderness where a cheerful welcome and a cosy log fire await visitors. A stopping post for all travellers on the road from Inverness to the North west of Scotland and the Outer Hebrides for hundreds of years, offering comfort and refuge from the elements and the perils of the road. Delicious home-made food, traditional bar-fare, refreshments and a comfortable night’s sleep. A choice of hotel or up market bunkhouse accommodation. Families and groups are welcome. Ideally situated for touring and travelling in the North West of Scotland together with being an excellent base from which to enjoy many outdoor activities. Nature and the Highlands right on your doorstep! Real ale is seasonal (May - Sept). It is always a good idea to phone ahead just in case they are not open (snow / staff etc)
