Surely one of the best pub views in the whole of Great Britain, perched on Culver Down overlooking Sandown Bay and Bembridge Harbour. The view back down the hill is also spectaqcular. Nearby is the Culver Battery, an impressive remnant of the Napoleonic Wars and built to protect Portsmouth (opened regularly by the National Trust). If it's for a snack or a full meal, an excellent and varied menu will be found in this cosy restaurants and pub. Owners have served many years in the trade and have added a sparkle to a spectacular venue.
PS - The view back down the hill is a good enough reason to go to the Culver Haven Inn. Three beers in the summer. CLOSED FEBRUARY
