This Pub is Permanently Closed
Not to be confused with the former pub of the same name in neighbouring Swanscpmbe, The Coopers Arms traded from 1886 to 2008. From 1885 to 2005 it adopted the name 'Pips' but then very sensibly reverted to its original name. Sadly this was not enough to keep the pub going and 'last orders' meant exactly that in 2008.
The Coopers Arms had operated as a Charrington's house during the latter half of the 20th century. Since closure it has enjoyed a varied existence as a fast food outled, the latest incarnation being 'Northfleet Fried Chicken'.
