This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Bull's Head was a town centre pub believed to date from 1467. It traded as a coaching in for most of its existence. In later years it was part of the Courage tied estate. Sadly time was called permanently in 1972 and currently (2/19) the building is an outlet for Bon Marche. The entrance to the former stabling remains as Bulls Head Yard.
The pub is pictured on the extreme left of the picture. Two doors down the former Black Boy is also visible. Thanks to www.dover-kent.com for permission to reproduce the photograph.
