Attractive 16th century Grade II listed pub featuring exposed beams, deep sofas, newspapers and a log fire blazing in the inglenook fireplace. There are two bars, the second bar is now more table space so the overall restaurant area is quite large. A very popular food destination with locally sourced ingredients and booking is very much advised. Drinkers are welcome in the main bar area but there is also lots of outside seating in the garden including a large, covered patio area. Live music on some Sunday afternoons. Annual Beer, Bikes and Bands Festival. Village famous for the Burston School Strike that ran from 1914-1939.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
