Lovely village pub parts of which date from the 15th century. The main bar has a very low ceiling with many exposed beams and is equipped with comfortable sofa seating. A large inglenook fireplace holds a roaring log fire in winter. There is a separate restaurant and food is served Wednesday to Saturday lunchtimes and evenings. Sunday breakfast and lunch. Reservation is recommended at the weekend. South Norfolk District Council Community.
