This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
The rather austere exterior appearance of this private unaffiliated club belies a smart interior. Consisting of one elongated club-room with a bar at one end, a games area with a pool table and dart board at the other end with the in-between area furnished with seating. The area outside to the back of the club was formally used to play crown green bowls but has since metamorphosed through a period as a tennis court and is now finally a petanque court. On payment of a 50p fee, card-carrying CAMRA members are granted a Temporary Visitor Membership. Bass and Old Speckled Hen rotate as the regular beer.
This Club serves 3 changing beers (Usually one local ale) and 1 regular beer.
