Spread over two floors with quirky internationally-sourced antiques, this converted wine merchant's shop is located within an area favoured by academics and urban professionals. It was converted into a pub in about 2002. The large front windows open up to create a continental ambiance on warmer days. Often very busy at weekends but always civilised. No cooked meals, but cheeseboards are available. Landlord is always sold, and there can be one or two guest beers.
