Now independently owned, the former brewery tap for Congleton’s Beartown Brewery continues to offer six cask ales from the brewery which is located just 300 yards from the pub. It has been a long-term leading real ale outlet in Congleton since opening in 1999. Opened-out traditional pub layout keeping separate areas and further space upstairs including a dartboard. There is a substantial secluded outdoor beer terrace which is very popular and which plays host to weekly street food events and occasional live music. Pizza & Pint Tuesdays 6-9pm; Street food on Fridays 5.30pm to 9pm and Sundays 5-8pm. Chippy Tea Thursdays 4-30pm to 8pm. Cask beers one pound a pint Sundays 2pm to 10pm. A community pub for conversation, Wednesday quiz and games. Local CAMRA Pub Of The Year 2020/21.
