Now independently owned, the former brewery tap for Congleton’s Beartown Brewery continues to offer six real ales from the brewery which is located just 300 yards from the pub. It has been a long-term leading real ale outlet in Congleton since opening in 1999. Opened-out traditional pub layout keeping separate areas and further space upstairs including a dartboard . There is a substantial secluded outdoor beer terrace which is very popular and which plays host to weekly street food events and occasional music performances.
