This Pub is Closed Long Term

The lease of the pub has been taken back by the National Trust, they have decided to re-let it as a pub, but it is not known when this will happen.

Last description

An attractive destination after a walk around the Alderley Edge escarpment, being conveniently situated immediately next to the main National Trust car park for the Edge. Previously a well regarded restaurant it now also welcomes those who just want a drink. Dog walkers coming from the Edge are also made welcome. It remains predominantly an eatery but the informal atmosphere of stone floors, scrubbed wood tables and beamed ceilings also makes for relaxed drinking. An early bird menu is offered from 6.30 to 7.30 Mon-Thurs.
