This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

The club is an oasis of real ale choice in the area. Thanks to the enthusiastic efforts of club steward Paul it boasts six handpumps with the choice normally including several local breweries. The club is friendly and hospitable with a spacious and smart interior. Snooker, darts and dominoes are available and with a County standard bowling green outside. Sky, TNT and Prime sports are shown on a couple of large screens. Sample menu is on offer lunchtimes and early evenings (except Sunday evenings). There is a quiz night every Saturday and regular music nights approximately once a month. A beer festival is held annually in the Spring. The club was Macclesfield and East Cheshire CAMRA Branch Club of the Year 2024. Free entry to CAMRA members (use buzzer at front door and show CAMRA card on entry). Non members pay a £1 door charge.
