Typical comfortable country pub with one end dedicated to eating and a family conservatory at the other. In between is a very traditional ‘pub' area with a real fire. The very extensive garden includes an enclosed play area. Serves three ever changing cask beers from interesting breweries.

Excellent quality food from extensive menu with specials board.

Tables can be booked from the website.

Beartown Classic Car club meets at the pub every month.

Winner of the Macclesfield & East Cheshire CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2025.

Nearest bus is #38 at Arclid, 1.7 mile walk along A50. Not recommended when dark.
