"It is with deep regret and a very heavy heart that it is true,

We close our doors on January 7th.

The rise in the cost of living, has had a great impact on the amount of customers through our door, the large increase in bills has made it difficult for us recently, so the very difficult decision was made.

The vale club has been a massive part of the community for the past 43yrs, The Golden lion before that.

Fantastic football teams, pool, darts and dominoes.

The many great people connected with the club, June, Alec, Steve and The great late John Moss and many others (too many to mention).

From myself and Steve we are very grateful for the last 8yrs ( just over).

I am grateful for the opportunity I was given and for the committee having trust in me running the club,we have made some fantastic friends, had some great times and events, had some tears to as we have lost some people along the way.

This last week has been an emotional one for me and I’m sure this weekend will be too.
