This grade II listed 300 year old dining pub, sister of the nearby Bull’s Head and Roebuck, retains vestiges of the old multi-room layout. Opposite the village church where Mallory of Everest is commemorated in stained glass (his father was vicar). There is a fire-lit cricket themed bar, a characterful boot room and two dining rooms. There are also two private dining rooms upstairs and beer garden to side and rear.

Historic Interest
George Mallory of Everest fame was son of Vicar of Mobberley. He’s commemorated in pub and with stained glass window in church across the road.
