This Pub is Closed Long Term

Bought by Maidstone Borough Council for a roundabout.

There has been a pub here since the 1600s, the current pub having been built in 1830. A free house owned by the same family for 34 years, there is usually at least one guest beer, often the Caledonian seasonal brew. One long spacious bar shows live football, rugby and other sports. This community pub hosts a darts team and a golf society. The pub also features a large patio area and a covered, heated smoking area.
