Early 19th century two-bar pub. The entrance leads into a comfortable loungle bar and restarant area. Thorough a small corridor is the larger public bar and skittle alley (the landlady is looking for teams) that doubles as a function room.

An extensive refurbishment in 2024. There is now a function room with working skittle alley; a sports room with pool table, darts and TNT and Sky Sports; and a large beer garden. There are bingo nights, weekly karaoke and disco, and regular live music.
