In what was once a dry area of the city this compact Wetherspoon was built in the mid-1990s to replace a function suite of the same name. The pub caters for a mostly local clientele, with TV screens showing racing and football. The community atmosphere is enhanced by the Monday quiz night. Beers are often from Scottish breweries and "Meet the Brewer" events are held from time to time. Alcohol is available from 11am.
