Traditional country inn, set in the Blackdown Hills near the Somerset border, with spectacular views over the Culm Valley. It was probably built originally as a cottage in the 13th century for stonemasons while they built the nearby church. Fresh locally sourced foods are on the menu, with themed evening menus. Pods in the garden can be reserved for dining with a view. Up to two guest beers are available and a beer festival is held each May.
