This Pub is Permanently Closed

In 1989 a very recent convert to real ale this pub has been transformed from a rather run-down drinking den into an up-market hostelry with a strong emphasis on the food trade at lunchtimes. The pool table is an unwelcome intrusion into the well furnished lounge bar. The pub was originally called the Railway Hotel. Drink the Truman Best Bitter while it's still available!
