Deceptively spacious brick built three storey building on the main street. The narrow entrance gives way to an open plan layout separated by pillars extending back to a patio and large garden. The wooden floored bar area has a welcoming fire in winter.

As at November 2018, the freehold for the Star (NT324221) was held by Punch Partnerships (PML) Limited [Reg. No. 3321199]. This was transferrred to Patron Capital on the 5th March 2018.
