A busy country pub in existence for more than 150 years, and for the last 14 years owned by the same family. This pleasantly updated village free house retains many period features and much original character, with an attractive beer garden at the front. A sensibly priced menu of traditional home-cooked pub favourites is available at lunchtime. Dogs are welcome after 2.30pm when food is finished. There is a separate area for pool, and a quiz is hosted on Tuesday.
