Early 19th century two-roomed local close to the River Trent and Sawley Marina, this is a well used pub which offers good value home cooked food. A traditional local with a good community spirit. The partially beamed ceiling in the lounge has a homely feel and a wood burning stove warms the bar during colder months. A Marstons house which prides itself on its Pedigree. GBG 2014 entry.
