The pub also has two additional intimate dining areas for private functions, one of which also has an open fireplace. Being an area of outstanding beauty there are many footpaths and walkways in the area making the pub a popular lunch stop for walkers - who either gather around the fire in the winter months or enjoy the beer garden looking over the Cherwell Valley in the Summer.
