This Pub is Closed Long Term
Attractive Northamptonshire ironstone building, probably dating from the mid-18th century with a few later additions. The name of one "Tom Hoskins" is recorded on the nameboard over the entrance, as establishing the building as a pub as late as 1877. Situated almost in the centre of Weedon Bec, this traditional pub has two bars; the front is a comfortable old fashioned saloon with an open fire, and the back part is set out as a more spacious lounge area. Upstairs is a room dedicated to pub games. There is an attractive south-facing garden at the rear with a children's play area. No car park but on street parking is often available or the free village car park is a couple of hundred yards away.
