A lovely country pub in a picturesque village. Traditional locally-sourced food is available too. There is a large garden, a terrace with seating and tables, a petanque pitch and children's play apparatus. A charity fundraising event is held with a beer festival during the summer bank holiday weekend, known as the Bell Bash. Dogs, walkers and cyclists are welcomed here. The pub has a large pond in the gardens featuring a variety of large fish and turtles which can be watched from a viewing pier.
