Four hundred-year-old traditional town centre pub also accessible from the main public car park. This is a timber-framed lathe and plaster building with beamed low ceilings and three large-screen TVs for sport. Live music is performed on Saturday evenings exept in some winter months. A large decking area at the rear includes covered seating for smokers. No food is served here so you can enjoy visiting here for social drinking.
