At the front is a large open access car-park sloping down to road. To the side and rear of the pub is a beer garden. The pub provides accommodation and traditional pub food (Tue-Sun), including Sunday Roast.

Historic Interest

Pub was owned by Dunmow Brewery, then Charringtons, Ridleys and now is a Greene King pub. This is the only pub with this name. Railway horses used to be kept in stables here.
