Please note this Club is closed 12/10/2018 and became Permanently Closed 31/03/2025 (Demolished for housing). Closed at short notice in October 2018. Sold in March 2020. A planning app to demolish and build flats rejected September 2020 as the applicant failed to demonstrate the club had been marketed as a community facility. A subsequent similar appln was also refused in Apr 2021. A third appln, this time seeking a pure residential replacement building was declined in Apr 2022 and subsequent appeal dismissed. Prior approval for demolition was granted in Nov 2023 (23/3338/PN7) and subsequent application for replacement residential development was approved on appeal in Aug 2024 (24/1566/F).
