This Pub is Closed Long Term

30/06/2023 Granted Planning Permission for demolition and redevelopment as accommodation by Spelthorne Borough Council, no surprises there. Was one of the oldest buildings in Stanwell and a tripe house until becoming a beerhouse in 1850. Photographs of old Stanwell adorned the two distinct drinking areas where there were vestiges of the old much more basic layout. Very much a community local, with occasional promotions. The old bakehouse containing the dart board was a separate part-listed function room available for hire.
