This Pub is Temporarily Closed

Situated on the main square, in the shadow of the Woolwich Arsenal gateway, this impressive late 19th century wedge shaped building complete with turret forms a prominent landmark. There are regular live music events on Sundays and a poker league on Mondays. The single open bar floor has a pool table in the centre. Re-named back to Ordnance in 2016 after many years as O'Connors, after a change of ownership.

Period of closure for work upstairs and re-opened in late 2022. A pool table dominates the bar floor.

No real ale is sold here.

Reported as closed on 20th June 2024 on the pub's Facebook page, presumably to allow permitted development works to be carried out noting planning permission requires retention of a pub at the end of work.
