The Parish itself consists of the village of Withybrook and the hamlet of Hopsford - traces of the former larger settlement on the site can still be found.

The Pheasant is beside the brook from which the village derives its name.

Free house formerly The Half Moon. Open beamed pub + eating house. Single room bar with other rooms mainly for eating.
