This Pub is Permanently Closed

Single roomed pub with wood panelled bar, frequented mainly by football fanatics. In the mid-1800's, patients of Doctor Mason were in the habit of using the back kitchen of the pub as a waiting room and, it seems, refreshing themselves, for the then landlord was prosecuted for serving them out of hours. Demolished and now a builders' merchants.
