Two tenements were rebuilt as an inn and registered as the Plough Inn in 1656. It closed in 1924 and was changed to a shop but some of the upper stories are still original. It was leased to Austin Reed, a gentleman's outfitters, who were here until 2016 when the firm went into administration. Now reopened as a pub again. Changed hands January 2024.
