This building has had many lives before it became a pub towards the end of the 20th century, starting out as a church hall, and was at one time a theatre.
The atmosphere at The Church House is fun and is a comfortable place to relax over a good bottle of wine, or a beer, in the company of friends. Now home to Banbury Folk Club.
Conversion
Built as church rooms in 1905 and later a theatre, this has been a pub for twenty years. Grade II-listed it consists of a large room with a part-glazed barrel-vaulted ceiling and a large gallery from which to view the whole room. Has a sizeable entrance hall and another room on the first floor with an oriel window. The layout and impressive bar fittings make good use of the fine setting. Real ale and meals.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
