The Quart Pot closed in 2011 and was sold to some property developers who tried to turn it in residential use. Sold on again at the start of 2016 to folks in the licensed trade, but without the land to the side for which residential planning permission is being sought.

Renovated and opened as The Hare in early March 2016. Three handpumps adorn the bar.

No children allowed in the bar, but are welcome in the dining room.
