Rose & Crown, Sandhurst

Dating from the 18th century and reputedly the oldest pub in Sandhurst, this family-friendly pub is always worth a visit, being about five minutes walk from Sandhurst railway station. Seven handpumps are situated on the single bar, one of the pumps also 'flexes' between a real cider and a real ale. Children and dogs are welcome. The sports TV's are on but the volume is muted enabling lively bar-side chatter by the locals.

This pub is a past local CAMRA Branch Pub of the Year and has featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide.
