Original description from 2002 when pub served real ale.

Dating from 1867 this pub is on the main road through Greenlaw opposite the war memorial. Very much a local with the locals the public bar is functional and Spartan. Sports TV and page three pin ups are the main decoration although the bar is adorned by a collection of whisky jugs. The lounge…..was locked and I could not get in.!!!!!

The pub was refurbished in 2003 so would have been different prior to closure.
