This Pub is Permanently Closed
In the 1950s this delightful 16th Century building was a house selling cider. Converted to a pub shortly after, with two snugs along with a larger bar, it became a mecca for cider drinkers for some 45 years, a feature was the apple trees which included plantings from the National Cider Collection. Sadly it closed in 1999 and was converted back to a private house, but cider is no longer available.
