This Pub is Closed Long Term

Never reopening after the Covid-19 pandemic its future is uncertain since the death of the owner in April 2023.

Large canal side pub and restaurant. The bar and restaurant areas are partitioned with separate entrances. The bar is simply furnished mainly with tables and chairs and upholstered seating to one side, old pictures of the canal on the walls and a large gas fire in the centre of the bar. To the other side is a games area, with two dartboards, a pool table, and gaming machines. There are numerous TV screens showing sports channels. Quiz night every Thursday. Outside there is a large patio area beside the canal, with mooring facilities and a covered smoking area. Food is served from all day every day and separate bar, restaurant, and children's menus. Sunday roast is served until 3.30pm
