Micropub.
This tiny shop conversion was the first micropub in Scotland. With no TV or music to distract, it is ideal for a friendly chat or playing board games. The outside area extends on to the pavement under canopies and into the car park in season. The real ales are generally from smaller breweries and since new owners took over in 2021 are served by handpump with third-pint tasting paddles available. Children are only welcome until 3pm and games are provided. Some simple bar snacks are provided (new range launched in June 2024).
Always check the opening hours as they can vary, especially in winter.
