Busy open-plan town centre pub, serving up to six real ales. Breakfast is available from 9 am every day. Live sports shown on multiple large-screen TVs. There are tables and chairs on the pavement in front of the pub, making it a very pleasant spot in summer. There is live music on occasion, which can make conversation difficult. The pub was taken over by new owners early in 2026 and they have introduced a more varied and interesting range of ales.
