A 16th century building, part of which once housed the village mortuary. Open fires & oak beams aplenty (mind your head on some of them!). There is a very good restaurant but also a bar and lounge area for quiet drinking in good company if you just want a pint. Lunch set men noon-4.30pm Mon-Sat, Sunday lunches noon-6pm. Recommended booking for dining
