Comfortable roadside pub with car park at rear (access through The Common off the A49). It has two bars though the tap room (left hand bar) may not be open at quiet times. The right hand bar is spacious and heated by a log burner. A TV is tuned to music videos when there is no sport on. A beer festival is held annually in the garden in either July or August.
Disabled access is via the rear door from the carpark, the front entrance being up a couple of steps.
Three handpumps serve Wye Valley HPA and up to two guest beers.
