Large open-plan town-centre Wetherspoon which in previous re-incarnations has been the site of livery stables and offices (hence the name), a temperance hall (above the main bar), a cinema that was later used as a nightclub and a as bingo hall (now the large beer garden) and several shops. This history is displayed, using different art forms, on the walls throughout the pub. The building next door was acquired, the facade has been retained but the building behind demolished to make way for the pub beer garden. Very handy for the bus station and services to Burnley, Ilkley and Skipton stop outside the door. Only non-alcoholic drinks are available before 9 a.m.
This Pub serves 5 changing beers and 3 regular beers.
