This Pub is Temporarily Closed

Originally a micro pub in the old fire station overlooking the canal basin. Created as a chill-out zone, lots of wood and dark colours create a relaxing atmosphere. Three hand pumps offer ever-changing beers. A lovely sun-trap of a beer garden awaits, heated and covered in winter. Very handy for Council Car park.

New space created at the back of the premises, (Big Mess) offering a venue for live music, with regular performances Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Open Mic 2nd Thursday. Some events are ticketed - see facebookpage for details.

First all day music festival was held August 2023.

Closed Mon-Wed.

Changed ownership on September 1st 2025 - to re-open on September 19th.
