The White Hart is a former coaching inn and hotel on the market square. There is a well preserved flag stone floored central passageway which leads to where the stable block was once located. The bar to the right of the central passageway is the oldest part of the pub. The pub has recently reopened following a short closure. It has been redecorated throughout with the addition of an upstairs 'escape room'. There is currently one cask ale and as business demands another may be added. Often there is no pump-clip displayed so ask if cask beer is available. Food is available daily except Tuesday and Wednesday.
Historic Interest
The White Hart dates back to the late 1600's and is one of the oldest pubs in St Ives. The current building dates from the 18th century. Note the stone flagged passageway as you enter the pub.
