Set in picturesque surroundings this is an ideal stopping place for walkers. Closed by Palmers as nonviable in 2005 the lease was taken up by the village and is now run as a true community pub. Two rooms comfortable lounge bar and lower room used mainly for meals. Meals are reasonable value good pub meals. Log burner in the bar.
Disabled level access into the bar but access to toilets is from the outside car park entrance with a small threshold step. NOTE May be restricted hours in winter, you are advised to phone beforehand.
